Actually the idiots guide would help a lot, If all you want to do is keep the extras and delete the movie, their are 2 things you could do. 1. If the VTS_01_1.vob set has the main movie in it and nothing else, then you can just go ahead and delete the set of VOBs, then open up IFOedit, and load the corresponding .ifo file (i.e. VTS_01_1.ifo) and then for all the PGC's just delete playback. Then you have a fully working DVD with no movie, but lots of extras. 2. You could also just strip out all the cells for that perticular set of VOBs containing the main movie. Obviously do this using IFOedit.

thanks for the suggestions 1. already tried that, it didn't work 2. tried that too. didn't work any other ideas anyone?
