midi playing different speeds when not synced (alpha 3)

says it all. I have the same drum beat playing through the whole song just as something to play to. i halved the rate for part of it however, when played solo (not synced to transport) it plays at full speed. it seems that it doesnt obey the rate property when soloed?

Are you talking about the midi editor dropdown for the display, beats vs time vs synced? That shouldn't have any effect on playback...

I have to admit I don't get the display settings. Can't find a difference in displaying 'time' and 'beat'. What are they doing in simple words? Is there a corellation to the timebase settings?
