importing/exporting from/to protools/reaper

nr 1 on my wishlist is the the ability to export from reaper to protools and vice versa. This will make reaper the KILLER application for audio! do you know of any future plans of this feature being addded to reaper??? cheers

This would be a KILLER, but there are multiple problems with this solution. First you have to limit only to VST/DX/AU plugins (NO HD plugins). But still possibility to import any audio montage (objects, cut's, X-overs) from/to ProTools would be nice :) There is application in Pro-Augio wich has this import/export module. It's Pyramix, so it is possible i believe. +1

Xanakios, Pyramix is a higher profile application than Pro-Tools. It's used in Movie and Audio editing/mixing, mastering, especially in 5.1 and higher sound systems. It can import and export Cubase, Nudendo, Sony Vegas, Pro-Tools, Ableton and Adobe Premiere projects so it is possible. I've seen it on my own eyes and I don't believe that engineers of those applications helped them, it's not in their interests (especially PRO-TOOLS). Encrypting those projects isn't out of their licenses as far as i know. Just like MP3 encoders/converters aren't illigal.
