Hard rock/progressive mix

After listening on car speakers, issues with the low end became apparent. Here's an updated mix, I would appreciate any feedback about any potential things regarding EQ, instrument balance, etc.. that I may be overlooking that could be improved, or if it's sounding good. Thanks!

Really a lot going on:) I find the vocal not getting through, need some EQ'ing I guess (I'm too rookie to give you any how to's;) My ears relly needs a break now:)

Gnarly stuff. It sounds well mixed, but the dynamics come across as flat to me...lacking energy that a song like this should have. Maybe tilted a little heavy in the mids, too.

Thanks for the responses! brainwreck - by 'tilted heavy in the mids' do you mean there's too much mids or not enough? Not familiar with "tilted". And as far as the dynamics go, do you think I should lay off the compressors a little or do some volume automation so the choruses are a bit louder or something? I have never mixed this kind of song before so if you could give me a few hints as to what you're thinking I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again! Also just wanted to say that the song is being submitted to an online compilation album on Monday so I'm in a time crunch and any more input before then would be awesome!

I'm so grateful for your feedback, I realized some things I was doing that were taking the life out of the mix. This is definitely an improvement as far as dynamics go, and hopefully for a couple balance/EQ issues as well. Wow, thanks a lot for that detailed response! I have a limited time to work on it today, and it's due tomorrow, but I will definitely try to make a few slight changes based on what you said. I really appreciate it. I will post an updated mix tonight or tomorrow.
