All my audio tracks are in sycn with other and were done against a click track so I know the bpm. What I would like to do is move all the tracks simultaneously so they "stay together" and i want to line them up so that they all start on first beat of a measure (it makes any midi editing easy on my eyes). I clicked the first track, then the shift key and clicked the last track. Now they were all hilighted (selected) I then held down the control key and tried to move a track .. figuring it would move them all at once. It didn't. It only moved the one track. Is it possible to move them all at once? thanks Super Steely KristEnya (formerly Super Kristen)
Yes, it is possible to move all tracks. Do the same steps as you mentioned, however, do not use control key - just use your mouse to drag all the items together. But ensure that all your items are selected.
Highlighting tracks will not get you anywhere. No need for ripple either. Press CTRL+A to highlight all items on all tracks. Then you just click on one of them and drag where you like without any modifier.
