You maybe know that fiddling with phase will let you have these large guitar wall of sounds (which I like very much for pop/rock/metal). I currently use iZotope Ozone to achieve this but I would really appreciate having a dedicated JS plug-in going even further. The idea is to have control on the stereo width of each frequency zones (bass, mid, high, etc.), so that you can leave your bass register in the center and open the hi-mids and highs in the stereo field. Now, there is an artifact to this : it changes your frequency curve (or EQ). My wish : - 6 definable frequency zones, solo-able, mute-able, bypass-able - per zone : a stereo width control, based on phase shift (+ an advanced mode with : a) ms delay b) amount of phasing, ranging from 0 to totally out of phase) - a frequency analyzer that would let you see how much phasing you have in which frequency zone (blue line : left, red line : right - i.e.) + let you see your frequency content before and after your phase tweaks - an "auto EQ" feature, fine-tunable to compensate for the change of frequency content due to phase tweaks.
