Fiddling with the wet/dry plug-in fader for a while causes my BCR2000 to become disabled and a message to that effect to be displayed. "The following inputs could not be opened, BCR200" This seems to happen only if in the same work session I have not actually previously been using the BCR2000 at all. The message keeps returning then every time I try to tweak this control. Sometimes it also causes the mouse cursor to become invisible, even though clicking it still works (but of course I have to guess where I'm clicking!). This can then only be fixed by reboot. I've tried this with ReaComp and ReaEQ so I doubt that it's plug-in specific. So far, I've only tried this on projects with just one track. PS this happens with Pre 1 and Pre 2
I set this in project settings, then loaded up an existing project which i used FIPM to sort the 'takes' out. 303pre2. basically i then couldn't hear my good guitar takes (top row in pic) as the bad ones, although muted, were deemed to be replacing the good ones, so i heard nothing... moving the items up down etc. in FIPM didn't change the behaviour. in short I think the project setting of 'always replace earlier item' shouldn't do anything to Free item mode, as using them both doesn't work at the moment.
The setup: Sony Vegas as MTC master -> MIDI yoke -> REAPER (3.03p2) as MTC slave When playing back REAPER follows Vegas' transport perfectly. When recording REAPER keeps on recording when transport is stopped at the MTC master (Vegas). Expected: REAPER stops recording when transport is stopped at the MTC master. I noticed this behaviour in 3.01 but as it didn't disappear in 3.03p2 i decided to post it here.
