Personally, if I were you, I wouldn't attempt a major system change like going from Mix to HD without doing some MAJOR house cleaning. Whenever I've made a change that big, I've usually bought a new computer, too, so I've started from scratch with a clean installation. If I was going to do it using the same computer, I think I'd still reformat the system disk on the computer and start from scratch. I'd also reformat any hard drives I was using with the system, installing fresh drivers. A major system change is always a good time to wipe the slate clean, and re-examine everything that's going back into a system, making sure that everything is up-to-date. Regarding your 10k drives, are they relatively modern? You might want to consider trying internal ATA drives or Firewire. Firewire is working awfully well these days. Lee Blaske
