Dear Cockos, Some of the lads have got together and decided it's time to end project abuse. So something that looks at project folders and rpp's that magically knows what wavs are in use and what all you can get rid of. Preferably with pathsync-like awesomeness. We have spoken. -robo p.s. i think i just want pathsync to do everything for me.
i think this is in the too hard basket, and i wouldn't expect that to change. e.g. what happens if there's a file in that folder that is needed by an RPP on an external usb drive? the best way to manage this is to "save as" to a new folder, with the option to copy all project data to the new location. do this for each project, then move the original folder to an external drive in case you need to pull an old file back off it.
is this in relation to peaks and rpp's and wav's being spread out all over my PC every which place? Cos if it is it gives me the shits! +1...i think :)
I'd be ecstatic if I could specify a relative path for peakfiles, just like I can do for the media files. Would be happy if the setting for the media files moved from project settings to prefs too.
