[From a Q posted here The meters for the non-Soloed tracks do not register any audio level, but the Master meters do the audio level from those tracks - please see the screenshot. The SIF track is panned left and the non-SIFFed track is panned right so that the audio levels can be distinguished. Big pic: What is happening now is inconsistent (and could be confusing) - the meter on the non-SIFfed track (panned right) show nothing, the Master meters do. I reckon that the non-SIFfed track meters should show the lowered level - in accordance with "what you see is what you hear".
