Middle button in MIDI editor

For me it zooms in and out

I hate this browser style scroll. Not only in Reaper, I just can't handle that thing. I'd prefer a proper hand tool like in photoshop anytime. But that's just me, and no biggie, as I get along fine with the wheel. An option to open note/event properties with the middle button would be cool for me.

Appears I was referring to mouse Preferences that no longer exist. Not sure when they disappeared, as I set them all back to default a while ago, as the preference for CTRL, ALT and Shift mouse wheel only effected the Arrange view, and the ME remained at the default. At this time the only weirdness that I have noticed is the CTRL+mousewheel and CTRL+Shift+mousewheel over the piano do not work the same as when the mouse cursor is over the TCP

The "hand tool" way of scrolling/panning around gets a +1 from me too.

I've requested something like this before, so big plus 1 from me!
