Bit setting for Sony Burners?

Is there a utility that works for the sony drives? What do people do for this? Cheers, Steve

What do you mean by "bit setting" ? Do you mean Region Coding ? If so, that's a firmware job. A search with alltheweb or Google will probably come up with something if you want to reflash your drive.

Actually, I mean the ability to set a burned DVD +RW as a specific type of DVD (i.e. DVD ROM). There appears to be a utility for the Ricoh drives (DVDBitSetter or something like that). However, I haven't been able to find one for the sony burners. Anyone? Cheers, Steve
