I'm new to reaper, but I learn quickly. I was planning on using it for mixing and mastering my instrumentals. I figured out how to import samples, but when I do that they aren't in sync. What could possibly be the problem?

Hi and welcome to the Reaperland! :) 1. Are your tracks consolidated (all exported in equal length from the beginning to the end of the project in the host you recorded them in)? 2. If so, are there maybe different formats involved? (Like .wav *and* mp3) Could you otherwise explain in more detail what you are importing or why you think it should be in sync?

I use to work out of Fl studio. So I wanted to mix my projects in reaper. I split all of tracks so I could rearrange them and do whatever to them. When Exported the tracks from Fl studio They were all the same bit rate And format( Wav.), but when I imported them in reaper they were off beat. I don't know how else to explain it.

I take that you're importing snippets directly from FLS? I don't know FLS but that might not work. When you record a take, it has probably a certain time before the actual program and some after it and the host uses a time reference for the take/snippet to memorize which part of it is actually being played and stores it in the project file. At least other hosts do that, the actual file and which portion the host plays when and where are two different things. In order to transfer tracks from one host to another you have to "consolidate" the whole track. Some hosts have an export function to do this. A consolidated track consists of one single file which starts at the project start and ends at the project end. If you consolidate and export all tracks of a project and import them into Reaper, they will look like this: Since they were exported with this in mind, they all actually start at the same point of the original project and hence they are automatically in sync when they're being imported into the other host.
