Quality Control

Hi i have a question about QUality Control and Error Correction again. Someone suggested me here to use 16 for Antishit, 30 for Min Quality and 0 for Modulation, this leads always to 200 megs oversize for me, even if i use 2 min DRF 16 max....what could be the reason for this to get this large oversize, you said it would be only 20 megs for you...

more information needed 

Without using the antishit function the filesize is 20mb as predicted? If not,post all the options u have used (the .vcf file),because the problem can be on something else. Bye

Hi- I think he's referring to an old thread I don't feel like tracking down now where one poster said that by using Anti-shit 16 and MinQual=30, it would put a stop to shit but might go as much as 20 MB oversize.

If your parameters were 16/30/50 that's sure that your file size will be bigger I try once different settings and with 16/30/90 the video was not oversized Try this.

no i said my i usually use the settings 16/0/50 i tried 16/30/50 and it was not oversized but 16/30/0 gets me always 200 megs oversize

My last backup was on a Trainig DVD, and i use XviD to make 2cd version and with defaults parameters the Q. is really really good Ahh, i remember the only change was on "bitrate playback" at 320. Try it!
